As a senior content strategist, Anya Britzius develops content that meets an organization’s needs and communicates its key values. This includes overseeing editorial planning, execution, packaging and identifying potential digital and print extensions.
Since joining MSP‑C in 2009, Anya has worked with clients such as Delta Air Lines, Sons of Norway, Minnesota Philanthropy Partners, the Minnesota Golf Association, the Minnesota Twins and the National Association for Independent Schools.

What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Organized, creative and thoughtful.
What has been your favorite MSP‑C project and why?
My favorite project has been working on Viking magazine—a monthly Nordic culture publication for the members of Sons of Norway. I love creating and executing content that celebrates Norwegian people, culture, history, food and travel.
What is most rewarding about your job; what makes it all worthwhile?
I am thankful to have a job that allows me to be creative every day. I am passionate about packaging content and how words and design can work together to tell a story and captivate a reader.
How did you end up here?
I grew up in Big Lake, Minn., and received an undergraduate degree in communication studies from Gustavus Adolphus College. I always enjoyed writing, but I wanted some journalism training. I moved to Arizona to attend grad school at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I returned to Minneapolis in hopes of becoming a magazine editor. I started interning with MSP‑C in 2008 and was hired in April 2009.

I’m a huge tennis fan, and I love the book Open by Andre Agassi. It’s a heartfelt and honest memoir describing the highs and lows of Agassi’s life on and off the court. I got the opportunity to meet him and ask him a few questions about the book a few years ago when he was in town.
