Erin is the vice president of content at MSP-C where she guides the work of content creators in both editorial and design who develop content for more than a dozen clients around the United States.
She oversees the content director’s group as they work in tandem with MSP-C’s comprehensive digital services team on content strategies, ideation, creation, optimization, distribution and measurement for both clients and business development projects.
In 2017, Erin was awarded the coveted Rising Star
Pearl Award by leading association The Content Council.
Since joining MSP-C in 2012, Madsen’s collaborative team more than doubled unique website visits to an owned media platform for a Fortune 200 consumer goods company. She continues to build world-class content strategies for consumer, business and association clients in a variety of industries. She takes pride in her digital acumen and her experience both leading teams and executing effective content campaigns.
Her career started as a business and city government reporter in New Mexico before returning to Minnesota to launch and edit a number of community and regional lifestyle magazines. During a tenure at Target Corporation, her role centered around media and publishing and she helped launch an internal content magazine which went from concept to launch in six weeks.
Erin holds an English degree from the University of Minnesota where she also worked as a reporter and editor of the student newspaper, the Minnesota Daily
